FALL 2020 REGISTRATION GUIDELINES
Priority for fall enrollment is first given to children currently enrolled in our program and their siblings, to children of Orchard Community Church families, and to children of families who have attended Sonshine Preschool in the past.
After the priority time, registration opens to all families and is accepted on a first-come, first-served basis. We hope to be able to accommodate your requests and to confirm your space in the program as you register.
Every attempt will be made to accommodate your requests for days attending, as space allows.
A non–refundable registration fee of $75 for returning students or $90 for new students must accompany each enrollment form.
A tuition deposit equal to one tuition payment is due June 01, 2020, or at the time of enrollment after that date, to confirm registration and assure your child’s space in the program. This tuition deposit will be credited as the tenth payment for the 2020 – 2021 school year (or whichever month is the last month the child attends in that school year if early withdrawal is required). This deposit is fully refundable until August 1, 2020, provided that notice is given in writing that your child will not attend in the fall. For written notice of withdrawal after August 1st, the tuition deposit will be refunded only if the child’s space can be filled with no loss of income to the preschool.
A completed “Physicians Report”, State form LIC 701, is needed for all new students. It is due before the child is admitted into class. Completing the form as soon as you are able gives us time to review it and request any needed follow-up. (You will receive this form when you register.) The California Health Department now requires by law that all new students are fully immunized upon entry. See SB277 for more information.
